Agro-Ecology in Action: 2025 Highlights

Facilitator for Change (FC), with the support of SOS FAIM, is transforming the lives of smallholder farmers in Bure Zuria Woreda through sustainable agro-ecological practices.

In 2025, the project helped improve soil fertility, expand organic fertilizer production, promote climate-smart farming, strengthen household incomes, and increase financial resilience through community savings groups. More than 1,000 farmers, women, and youth directly benefited from these initiatives.

Despite challenging circumstances, the project continues to demonstrate that agroecology is a practical pathway to food security, environmental sustainability, and resilient livelihoods.
